HOMEOPATHY AWARENESS WEEK 10TH – 16TH APRIL 2019

HOMEOPATHY AWARENESS WEEK 10TH – 16TH APRIL 2019

It is almost time for the 2019 “Homeopathy Awareness Week”, which always provides an excellent opportunity to raise awareness of Homeopathy. As a key partner in the 4Homeopathy collaboration, the Faculty is delighted to be involved in this year’s shared events.

4Homeopathy will mark this year’s Homeopathy Awareness Week (10th – 16th April) with some high profile media activity.

Themed around the slogan #TryHomeopathy, our campaign will raise awareness of the benefits of Homeopathy and encourage the public to try it for themselves.

4Homeopathy is working with a major marketing agency to help spread our message. We have commissioned a survey, ‘The Cost of Health’ which will form the basis of a news story exploring how much people spend on medicines, fitness and well-being.

A separate poll has been created for Homeopaths and patients, designed to give an accurate and up-to-date picture of Homeopathy in the UK. It is available at https://www.findahomeopath.org/survey.

We will also be creating free info-graphics and social media posts which you can use to promote Homeopathy online.

Press stories and publicity material will invite people to #TryHomeopathy and direct them to www.findahomeopath.org.uk.

Spread the word about the Homeopathy Awareness Week websites – link and share:

We encourage all Faculty members to get involved and use this opportunity to help raise awareness of Homeopathy. Use social media and the hashtag #TryHomeopathy to share Homeopathy success stories and to spread the word about our Homeopathy poll – and invite patients, friends and colleagues to do the same.

Perhaps you have already planned an event, a presentation or a local activity to help raise awareness of Homeopathy? If so, please share the details with us.

Please also consider sharing the health benefits of Homeopathy by taking a 'Healthy Selfie' photo or make a film on your smartphone, adding the hashtag #TryHomeopathy and posting to social media. Invite others including patients to do the same. Please send them to us so that we can share them others! Email your stories, reports, photos and films to info@archive.facultyofhomeopathy.org.

Of course, this year’s Homeopathy Awareness Week has an extra special dimension for Faculty Members, as it marks the 175th anniversary of the founding of our organisation on 10th April 1844. The Faculty will mark this milestone at a special event in Delhi next week. Please watch out for photos and details from the event. If you are planning your own events to mark this historic occasion, please share them with us!
